Iron Mountain built the traditional enterprise software and IP escrow model: a three-party legal agreement, deposits held in secure facilities, verification as a professional service, pricing on request. In 2021 Iron Mountain sold that Intellectual Property Management (IPM) business to NCC Group. Those escrow services are now delivered under the Escode brand. Iron Mountain itself continues as a records, storage, and data-center company. As of 28 August 2026, ironmountain.com does not publish a software escrow product or a price list. The historical IPM URL on ironmountain.com returns 404.

Iron Mountain does not publish software-escrow prices on its current site. That is not a gap we filled in: as of 28 August 2026 there is no Iron Mountain software-escrow product page to quote from. Historically, IP escrow from this brand was scoped and quoted per agreement — the traditional enterprise pattern of “contact us.”
The successor that now runs former Iron Mountain escrow accounts, Escode, also asks buyers to contact sales for pricing. Escode’s public educational guide (updated May 2026) lists example industry-style ranges, not a checkout price and not an Iron Mountain list: setup and integration £750–£1,250; annual maintenance £1,400–£1,850; technical verification £1,500–£15,000+. Treat those as examples on a successor site, not as what Iron Mountain charges today.

Iron Mountain’s historical software and IP escrow was the classic three-party model: the developer (depositor), the customer (beneficiary), and Iron Mountain as agent. Source code was deposited at secure facilities. They also offered technology-escrow education and, in 2007, a SaaSProtect-style escrow that combined source/object code with online backup. That is a serious, traditional process. It was built for licensed on-prem software and negotiated enterprise deals, not for daily Git deposits from a dashboard.
Iron Mountain no longer lists those escrow products next to records storage and data centers. If you still have an “Iron Mountain escrow” in a contract, the operating successor to ask is Escode, which publishes Software Escrow, SaaS Escrow, and Information Escrow (IP, designs, formulas) as named products — still scoped through a sales and legal process. Iron Mountain does not publish a current integration list for software escrow. Historical descriptions talk about depositing source code at secure facilities, not OAuth into your Git host. The successor, Escode, names automated depositing from GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, and does not publish a full integration count.
Verification options
Proof of recovery is what separates escrow from a backup disk. Codekeeper publishes verification tiers you can start without a quote:

Iron Mountain historically sold verification as an add-on professional service (their 2009 materials describe checking completeness and that code would be usable). Current Iron Mountain verification names, tiers, and prices are not published. Add-on services

Storage and security
Codekeeper includes 1TB with every plan, with upgrades up to 5TB, and custom storage beyond that. Deposits sit in immutable vaults, encrypted with AES-256/512 in transit and at rest, with multi-factor authentication. Codekeeper is ISO 27001 certified. No one at Codekeeper has access to your escrowed materials.

Iron Mountain is a large, long-running custodian of physical and digital records and operates data centers. That heritage is real. What they do not publish today is escrow-specific storage allowances, encryption claims for software escrow, or escrow certifications under the Iron Mountain brand. That is not the same as copying data-center marketing into an escrow spec. Escode (successor) publishes ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 for its escrow vaults.

Agreements
Codekeeper supports bipartite, tripartite, and multi-party agreements from templates or a custom draft by the in-house legal team. You can set release triggers, jurisdiction, and conditions in the dashboard. A sample annotated agreement is available before you commit. Standard setups can activate within 24 hours once teams respond; typical setup is one to two weeks.

Iron Mountain’s historical product was the three-party technology / software escrow agreement, with source code released only on defined triggers (vendor failure to support, insolvency, and similar). That legal shape is still the industry default. What Iron Mountain does not publish now is templates, activation timelines, or self-serve agreement tools.

Iron Mountain support hours, named account-team model, and release timelines for software escrow are not published on the current site, because the escrow product is not listed there.
